Tonic's End of 2025 Message

Tonic is wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

2025 has been another very exciting and busy year for us at Tonic. We are so happy that our LGBTQ+ affirming retirement community, Tonic@Bankhouse, is thriving and combating loneliness and isolation.

A historic milestone for the LGBTQ+ community was reached this year, as we officially became the UK’s first LGBTQ+ specific housing association. This was possible as our 4 year journey to becoming a Registered Provider of Social Housing was completed. 

As a Registered Provider, Tonic can now expand its impact by directly delivering social and affordable homes and accessing new development, investment, and partnership opportunities. This status is a springboard for growth, enabling Tonic to meet the urgent and growing demand for housing that affirms and supports older LGBTQ+ people across the UK.

We would like to take this opportunity to give a huge thank you to all our residents, volunteers, friends, funders and supporters who helped us achieve this milestone and made this year such a fantastic one. 

We hope 2026 is a great year for everyone and we are so excited for what is in store for Tonic next year!
